Pet care experience
I grew up in a secluded southwest Portland neighborhood, where every house on my street had a dog. I grew up with a great big black lab/shepherd mix, whom I loved deeply and often took care of. I am friendly and patient with animals and have extensive experience taking care of many of my neighbor's pets. I understand and celebrate every dog has a their own personality that makes them unique. I am a person who enjoys walking even by myself, so walking with a friendly companion is an even greater pleasure.

I don't have any major preference, though there are some breeds I am more experienced with. Most of my experience with dogs are either large or mid-sized. I have a lot of exposure to Labrador Retriever's growing up. I grew up with a Labrador and German Shepherd mutt who weighed 95 pounds. Our neighbors have had two yellow labs, who I have dog sat for and have known for many years. After my own family's own dog passed, my family adopted a rescued puppy who is a , who weighs about 60 pounds. I have also had experience working with Pit Bulls, Australian Shepherds,
A typical day
I can take them to dog parks, or through any paths that lead through the woods (where I know many enjoy the scents). I grew up with a dog who was extremely athletic and active and was obsessed with fetching and currently have a dog who enjoys frisby and being chased. I am very open to a variety of activities depending on what activities the dog enjoys.
