I've taken care of both dogs and cats of family, friends, and neighbors for the last 8 years. I have plenty of experience with walking, medications, cleaning, and of course playing with pets of all different sizes.

I always make sure to take things as slow as the pet needs, for the safety of all involved. For dog walks, my biggest concerns are the temperatures outside. I will not be walking your pet if it's too hot on the pavement for them, sorry. As for how care for the pet goes, that's up to you! I will follow their schedule to a T and make sure they get the care they deserve so you can be back together before they even notice!

Activity level is one of the most important things I can know. I'd like to honestly know all the triggers the dog may have and how they have reacted in the past. That can help make the decision between walking towards someone else with a dog or child vs. turning a different direction.
A typical day
Walking has to be more than a simple action for animals, it's one of the only times they get to get out of the house, after all. I like to play it by ear and see how the dog is doing. If they want to stay out a little longer, I'll go for longer just for them. Parks are always a classic and I think finding places not too close to busy roads help to release the stress of a new person walking with them.
