Pet care experience
I'm a huge pet lover of dogs and cats alike. I've done pet sitting since I was 12. I've also had seven much-loved and missed dogs and cats of my own over my lifetime. I currently have no pets. I kept my own pets clean, brushed, well-fed, played with, exercised, and received much love and devotion in return.
Reviews

SO WONDERFUL. Connie kept our Yorkie for the first time. She sent me lots of pictures and videos. I felt that she really tried to get to know Scouty and understand her behavior. Connie shows a real love for her guests and it was clear to me from Scout's behavior that she really bonded with Connie. Connie did an excellent job in my opinion and I will be very comfortable leaving Scouty with her again. I'm grateful to have found her!

Connie was fantastic with our little 5lb Piper. Her level of compassion and communication is excellent! Piper was so very well cared for by Connie and we are looking forward to using her in the future. Thanks again Connie!

Connie takes great care of my dog and gives her so much attention and love. I completely trust her with my dog!

Niko had another great visit with Connie. She sent us updates, videos, and pictures each day. Would never leave Niko with anyone else. He loves as staying with her.

Safety, trust & environment
I know pet parents worry when they need to leave their pets and my goal is to reassure you that I will do anything I can to keep your pet safe, healthy, happy and comfortable while in my home. You will get daily reports and photos of your dog so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing they are cared for and occupied. I live in a home with my husband on 5 acres where there is plenty to sniff and explore. When outside, your dog will be with me always and on leash. Pets are allowed on furniture and bed which have clean blankets after each pet stay.

Information Connie S. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know your pet's feeding schedule, daily routine at home, any health problem or medications it requires, likes and dislikes, or any special quirks it has so I can keep experiences in our home closely matched to what they are used to. I require that your pet is house trained, current on vaccines and flea control to protect your pet as well as others. New clients are welcome to bring your pet for a meet and greet so we can discuss what your expectations are for your pet's care and make you and your pet feel more secure when it comes time for boarding.
A typical day
I take dogs for walks in our quiet subdivision, or explore the trail on our property. We have an enclosed patio and in good weather, they can join us out there for shade, an afternoon treat and fresh air. Dogs like to watch the birds at the feeder or just stretch out on a chair for a nap while I read a book. I enjoy teaching dogs tricks if they show an interest, playing dog scent games, puzzles, tossing toys and giving lots of belly rubs and petting! Whatever your pet likes doing in its own home is also my goal. If yours is a lap dog, I have one! Would they appreciate a warm blanket from the dryer before bed or ask Alexa for 15 minutes of music in bed before lights out? Just ask and I'll try to make it happen! A bored dog is an unhappy dog!

Availability
Being newly retired I'm very flexible and usually home all day, especially when I have a furry guest. I have lots of time to spend walking, cuddling and playing with your pet. I board only one pet at a time, so your pet gets 100% of my attention and gets treated as if he were a family member, with care, love, and kindness.
