I always had a dog when growing up and my daughters always had dogs when growing up. My oldest daughter has two dogs now and I care for them when she and her husband go away for pleasure or business, which is often. I call the dogs, "my granddoggies". Now my daughter's friends have me come to dog sit when they are gone vacationing. I have several families I help out. I most recently did dog sitting for six months for two Chows in Belmont Shores. I stayed over because the owner was traveling three or four days each week for his position as President of the Real Estate Association. His position ended after six months. I brushed, fed, walked and cared for the two beautiful animals. I had a dog until recently when she died. I cannot have a pet where I currently live. I miss having a dog around..
