My love of fur babies is boundless!

Pet care experience

I am a lover of dogs and cats alike. I am a "Aunt" of 5 beautiful furry ones: Rebound, Trip, Dixie, Toby and Emma I love to spend time with them and to help with their training. Rebound and Trip had issues with jumping on visitors, I was able to help their owner by maintain their training plan while sitting with them. I feel it's important that the walker and sitter chosen keeps the family's structure so that the dog /cat isn't stressed by the owners absence. I want your pet to feel comfortable and happy while I am with them, and I want you to feel comfortable and happy that their furry one is well looked after.

Information Connie H. would like to know about your pet

I would like a chance to meet the dog and family before the initial sitting. It is important that the dog is comfortable with me being his/her sitter, and the best way to know that is by meeting them with their family so that they feel safe. I need to know any special dietary or mobility so that I can make sure those needs are met, and if there are any temperament issues- sometimes being away from their owner can be stressful and I need to know the early signs of stress so that I can help to make them more at ease.

A typical day

If there is a park nearby, it would be my first choice, otherwise I will look to a route in the neighborhood. The games will depend on the dog's skill level: if they now how to play fetch or tug of war- I am working with Emma on playing fetch, she has got the chase and catch part, still working on the return and drop. :)
