As any pet owner knows, dogs are like children. And as someone who grew up in a house with a home daycare business, I understand this better than anyone. My mom used to be occupied with her daycare business most of the day, so it was always my responsibility to take care of the pups. As I grew older I realized more and more that I needed to treat our dogs as my mom treated the children: with constant attention. I got my first puppy (Ginger) when I was 10 years old and boy was she a handful! I learned the importance of potty breaks, walks, and playdates with other pups. With my dogs all grown up, I miss the excitement and responsibility of meeting and caring for a new dog, and can’t wait to hang out with yours!
