Pet care experience
I've worked at a combination of vet clinics and doggy daycares for the last 4 years (& counting), and have lived with and cared for dogs and cats my whole life. I routinely care for family member’s pets as well. I have the most experience with senior and special needs dogs, and am familiar with and comfortable administering various oral and injectable medications, such as heart medication, eye drops, and insulin. While senior pups definitely have my heart, I will provide just as much care and attention to your puppy or feline friend as well! My goal is to make sure each pet enjoys as much of their day as possible, until their favorite person comes home again. 💖

Safety, trust & environment
On walks, I allow space between strangers/dogs and carry a treat pouch & water dispenser with me. I keep track of the temperature/weather in order to make sure the activity level/length is safe for your pet. Your house = your rules. If your pet isn't allowed on the furniture, or has other rules to follow I won't teach them bad habits. If there are any commands/habits you are working on, let me know so I can maintain the consistency!
Information Connally B. would like to know about your pet
Any triggers for your pup (loud noises, excited dogs, strangers,) and what to avoid if possible. My goal is for their walks to be as enjoyable and stress-free as possible! What activities does your pet enjoy: Fetch, puzzles, or some good ol' belly rubs? What routines/habits make them comfortable: Do they need a blanket, is the kennel their safe-space, or a preferred toy? Any precautions that may need to be taken: Is your pet an escape artist, food aggressive, dog-reactive, eats anything/everything? Do they have any medical needs, food sensitivities/allergies, or diet restrictions? Any medications that need to be administered? Are treats allowed? **If your dog has any special needs please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate!**
A typical day
Dog walking: I'll have a general plan on where to walk, to ensure safe areas, but will mostly allow your pup show me their favorite routes and explore their neighborhood. Afterall, this is for them! Your pup will set the speed and be allowed to stop and sniff and much as their heart desires. Plenty of water will be available throughout the walk. Treats will be on-hand, if allowed! Drop-ins: First things first, potty break/litter change! Then a short stroll if it's not too hot out (for the pups). If your pet likes toys or puzzles, we'll spend some time playing or just getting in some belly rubs if they prefer. After checking their food and water, and administering any medications, I'll give them another potty break and pets before saying goodbye for the day!
