Pet care experience
I am looking to fulfill my love for dogs with part time work as a dog walker/ babysitter. I am currently working from home in Stuytown (lots of grass) and have the flexibility to take care of a dog during the day. When COVID started I began fostering dogs and it was the highlight of working from home. I have now fostered 6 dogs of different breeds and sizes that have provided me with a ton of experience. When I’m not fostering dogs or traveling I’d love to take care of your four legged friend!

You can trust your dog will be safe with me! I live in a one bedroom apartment with my boyfriend and we both have multiple years of dog & puppy experience. My boyfriend often travels for work and I love to fill the extra space with a dog while he’s away. Outside my apartment is a very grassy/park area with quiet walking paths. It is safe to walk around at all hours.

Please let me know if your dog has any special instructions when it comes to eating, sleeping and walking. It is important to know how social your dog is with other people and dogs so I can manage accordingly.
A typical day
I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood that dogs love to walk in! If dogs are a little timid of the city/loud noises I usually stay within Stuytown as there are enough walking paths to get a good walk in. If the dog is a good walker in the city sometimes I will take them through the local parks, down by the east river, or across town to the Hudson River path. I do not take dogs to the dog park unless otherwise instructed to.

Availability
I currently work from home and have a lot of flexibility throughout the day to play and walk with your dog! I enjoy running and long walks and happy to spend lot of time outside with your dog if he/she likes that. The typical daily schedule when I have a dog is to wake up and go for decent walk right away. Once we get in it’s time for playtime and breakfast. I usually take the dogs out 4 times a day, about every 4 hours.
