Having grown up with dogs from a very young age, I believe they are an essential part of companionship bonds! I grew up with a total of 3 dogs, large in size. As a dog sitter, i most look forward to providing companionship to you dog in a safe, respectful, and comfortable manner! I will spend the time with your dog however it is best convenient for you! Whether it is watching your dog in my home, in yours, or taking them outside to get exercise or to do one of their favorite activiites! (fetch, the beach, hiking etc). I am skilled with walking energetic or distracted dogs and making sure that any public outing is done "responsibly" ie, picking up after the dog, and interacting with the general public or other dogs respectfully. I live in a yard that is completely fenced off with 6ft fences. There is a large wooden deck with a couple of steps on either side, and some play space below. It isn't large enough for a large dog to get their main exercise for the day (unless they run in circles, which has been done before), but it is a nice space for a dog that likes to sniff around, hang out under trees, do their "business", and enjoy some air! I have a station wagon that can fit large dogs, and it sits a little lower to the ground so it isn't too high of a jump! If necessary, I can lift dogs that weigh up to 60-70 lbs up into the car. My availability is weekday evenings (from 5pm on), but I am free throughout the whole day on weekends!
