I have always had animals from a child. My dog passed away 2 years ago. I got him from the pound at 6 weeks until he passed away at almost 20 years old. I give massages and I always maintain their schedule that they are used to when at home. All the dogs in my neighborhood love me and always want me to rub their heads. I will love your animal and care for them like my own. I have done and still do animal sitting in the community where I live. Most of my neighbors will recommend me to new comers. I will give them several walks per day and I will give them a bath if needed, and I will feed them the food that they eat every day at home. I will try to maintain the same schedule as home.

Colleen was amazing!!!! Our dog had to have an unplanned surgery before our travels. Typical recovery time after my dogs procedure is 14 days. The vet and I agreed that I would bring our dog Jiggy in for a follow up post op 9 days out. Our vet said that our dog was looking good but to continue meds. This required oral meds, eye drops and ear meds as Jiggy got an ear infection while wearing a cone post op. Colleen managed it ALL! I'm truly grateful to have found her. I was nervous about using someone off Rover that I did not know for our sweet dog Jiggy. But she truly made this a fantastic experience. I would not hesitate to use her again! And highly recommend her to anyone who may need a sitter. She sent updates every now and then. And made our spoiled dog Jiggy feel right at home. We now call Colleen Jiggy's Rover Nanny.

I need to know in advance the correct size and weight of your pet so that I can care for them properly.I like to know how they interact with other animals and people. Are they afraid of thunderstorms and anything that makes them scared? Are they on medication? Do they have any issues? The more I know about the dog, the better prepared I am to care for them.
A typical day
We go for long walks, play games, get head and back rubs. Lots of snuggles and petting. Getting treats for being good. Potty breaks about every 3 hours.

Availability
I prefer to care for dogs under 40 lbs but I have gotten dogs between 40- 100 lbs and wasn’t told the correct weight. if I am able to accommodate your request there will be an additional fee between $10-20 extra per day.I am available full time for your pet and my son is available as well and he loves animals and animals are drawn to him. In fact we have a wild rabbit that followed him around and now lives with us.
