After graduating from college I spent a little over a year working for my local SPCA, where I learned all about dog training and behavior. I'm all about that positive reinforcement! I also fully believe that a tired dog is a happy dog and truly enjoy long walks with a pup. I grew up with dogs and cats, so I am totally down to take care of both! Through my work with the SPCA, I have a thorough knowledge of dog/cat health problems and am comfortable administering medications if necessary. Our apartment complex only allows us to house dogs 50lbs and under, so unfortunately that is also my limit on Rover as well.

I couldn’t have hand picked a better caregiver for my two pups! They quickly fit right in! Colleen was so attentive, and sent me so many cute pics and updates. Since I was traveling in an area far from home, she set my mind at ease while I left my boys over night. I will definitely reach out again when I’m in the area.
Colleen did an amazing job taking care of our 2 pups and our house. She was attentive to our dogs' needs as well as ours. I highly recommend Colleen for pet and house sitting.
Colleen is the best dog sitter on rover. I was worried leaving Beast behind but Colleen was big relief; she was consistent, responsible and very kind to Beast. She went above and beyond to take care of Beast even when he was being difficult initially. I would not rely on anyone but Colleen for anytime in future Beast needs sitting.
Colleen is the type of person that understands that our dogs are our family! She exudes her obvious love for all animals and my Jack Russell fell for her immediately. In all of our interactions she has been kind, flexible, and professional. I would definitely reccommend her to anyone looking for a safe and loving caregiver for their pups!

Because we are renting, I cannot accept a dog with destructive tendencies or excessive barking when left alone. Also, because I have my own dog in the home, your dog(s) will have to be friendly with other dogs.
A typical day
Atleast three 30 min walks per day, play time in the apartment, dog park time if approved by owner, snuggles on the the couch, lots of (approved) treats.

Availability
I work Monday through Friday, 7 am-330 pm, so I would do a walk at around 615 am, 345 pm, 7 pm and 930 pm. My partner lives with me and typically gets off work around 2 or 3 in the afternoon so chances are we can walk the dog earlier than 345.
