Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs in the house and have had cats since I've lived on my own. Currently have 4 rescue cats who are part of the family! Family and friends have relied on me to feed, walk, and care for their pets. I've completed the 3rd level of Healing Touch for Animals training, and have a love and compassion for all animals. I am reliable, and send pictures of the pets to their family.

Colleen is The Very Best with animals – kitties and doggies! She is a tender, loving Soul and treats each pet as she would treat her own – loving words and compliments, loving brushing, and total loving energy! My two kitties love her drop-in visits and feeding when I am out of town. Colleen is reliable, cleans up any “accidents” and/or messes inside and outside of the litterboxes, food dishes, and she sends me pictures of my kitties each day! When a friend of mine was staying at my house with her elderly dog (greyhound rescue), Colleen volunteered to walk the dog and gave the dog some extra TLC! Dog and dog mama were very happy!
sorry, I should have mentioned that Cookie is my cat Colleen feeds her on time keeps water and the litter box clean. always gets her toys
Colleen is my neighbor for the last few years and has been taking care of my cat like she was her own. we have a wooden fence with an opening at the bottom so Cookie can go visit and get treats she just loves her, Colleen talks to Cookie and they have a conversation. Colleen is very caring and loves all animals, I would highly recommend her.

I am respectful of the pet owners home and their pet's schedule. I spend time with the pets and respect their level of comfort as they get to know me. I clean the dishes after feeding the pets, and brush the pets with care. I also clean up any "accidents" that the pet may have had (urine, BM, vomit). Also very conscientious of picking up after the dogs I walk (I have a stash of "poop" bags in case the pet owner runs out)! I keep the dogs on a leash and am vigilant of the surroundings and other dogs in the area where we are walking.

Any special needs; any precautions needed while walking dog; for example, does the dog get aggressive around other dogs or is the dog intimidated when other dogs are around. If medication needs to be administered, please let me know how the pet parent does it.
A typical day
I will take your dog for a nice, long walk; play fetch/catch with your dog if there's a yard for that (or at a dog park if there's one close by); If there are any games that your dog(s) like to play, please let me know. I will pet your dog(s), and give them TLC.

I'm currently job searching, so I have a flexible schedule. I would like to continue pet sitting and dog walking once I have a new job and will be as flexible as possible, schedule permitting.
