Hello! My name is Colleen and I am a long-time adorer and carer of pets, both cats and dogs, and also farm animals! I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2013, I work as a freelance web designer, and I find taking care of pets to be such an enjoyable and rewarding way for me to earn some additional income on the side. If you are out of town or at work, I will keep you posted on the well-being of your pet throughout the day so that you can rest assured everything is okay at home and concentrate better on your day. As someone with a pet myself, I understand that our babies are our world, and when someone trusts me to care for their pet they’re putting a huge amount of faith in me, and that’s very important to me to live up to. If you book with me, I’m also happy to stop by and meet everyone in person, so that I can meet you and your pet(s) can get comfortable with me in advance of the actual booking. I’m currently not hosting at my home because we have 2 cats including a senior cat here, but I can travel anywhere in South Lyon or surrounding areas such as Ann Arbor & metro-Detroit, though a small fee may apply for locations outside of South Lyon/more than 10-15 minutes away from me. I can walk dogs, do drop-in visits for dogs and cats, or housesit with your pets while you’re out of town. I also have experience caring for a diabetic pet, so if your pet is diabetic and needs insulin or any other medicine via injection, I can provide that as well.
