Pet care experience
I’ve owned and cared for dogs of all sizes my whole life. Ive always had a love for 4 legged creatures and would love to help you care for yours. I have experience with larger breeds of dogs such as mastiffs, Staffordshire terriers, and all bully breeds. My last dog and fur baby, Baloo, was a 110 pound blue nose pit bull rescue who unfortunately suffered from epilepsy. Because of this I do have experience caring for dogs with various medical issues and administering medications. I am also a distance runner and trail runner, so I can definitely help tire your pup out with a long run or hike! I've been a dog sitter and dog walker for pet owners throughout North Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Plumas County, Ventura County, and on Maui. I recently left Hawaii and moved to Ojai, where I hope to care for more dogs!

My dog is part Husky, has a lot of energy and needs to run; a walk around the block is not sufficient so I hire Colleen to take her on 2 to 4 mile runs not only around my neighborhood but on trails and at the park as well. She is loving and strong and has complete control and attention of my dog. Mika (my dog) adores her and looks forward to their runs/hikes. I highly recommend her if your dog loves long runs!!!!

I live in a beautiful neighborhood in Ojai with a large backyard! I have plenty of dog friendly hiking trails close by and even a few dog friendly parks. My boyfriend who lives with me also loves all 4 legged creatures will be there to give a lot of extra pets and love to your pup!

Please let me know of any specific behaviors your dog may have or any quirks I should be aware of. Understanding each dogs personality, needs, and preferences is important. For example, if your dog does not do well with other dogs or cats, or has a fear of men, or maybe does not like to have their ears touched, etc.
A typical day
I can help tire your energetic dog with a long hike, run, or walk! Or just a short and sweet walk, if that is what your dog prefers. I love outdoor adventures and would love to bring a pup along with me. I can also provide more mental stimulation for a pup with games, toys, puzzles, or practicing commands.

Availability
I currently work part time from home, so my availability is very flexible! I am available afternoons or early mornings for dog walking/ running/ hiking, Monday through Friday. OR any time on the weekends.
