Pet care experience
Have had rescue dogs all my life & and as of yet, have never met a dog I didn’t love. Heading to a local park or trail with doggie(s) has always been fun and something we like to do often. We don’t go to the dog parks but rather we are walking around, exploring and letting the dogs check things out. If your dog is too young or too old for much exercise or you want your dog to stay close to home, a nice slow, easy walk around the neighborhood is fun too. I do typically walk with a friend/family. I don’t run the dogs, Only Walking. I will Always pick up after the dog(s) and provide water when needed. I will send pictures along the walk or stay, so you can feel assured your pup is being properly taken care of and protected.

Colleen looked after our dog Mocha twice, and each time was absolutely wonderful! Right from the meet and greet, Colleen's warm and caring nature put both Mocha and us at ease. Mocha took an instant liking to her, which made us feel really comfortable leaving our furry family member in her care. Colleen's communication was spot-on, always keeping us updated with messages and pictures throughout the day. It was such a relief to know that Mocha was in good hands and enjoying her time with Colleen. We're so grateful to have found Colleen through Rover and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable doggy day care.
Colleen and Paul did an amazing job taking care of our dog Socks for 4 days this week. They have a very warm, dog friendly home. I could tell that Socks enjoyed his stay as he was very calm and relaxed when I went to pick him up. I would definitely recommend Colleen and Paul without any reservations.

I do have a fenced front yard but also like to take the dogs for walks to get out some energy and also to get my steps in! For all new clients, especially boarding clients whom I have not watched your dog(s) before, I will ALWAYS ask for a meet and greet prior to watching your dog. This assures we are a good fit and your pup(s) will enjoy being with me. Doggy Daycare hours are anytime between 6:30am-6:30pm. If you need longer than that, you will need to book a boarding day instead after we have agreed to the additional hours. Please Note: For New Clients who want House sitting in YOUR home: Prior to accepting, I will schedule 2 meet and greets. The first one will be at a local park where we see if we are a good fit and discuss what you are looking for, and your expectations of me. If we, then decide we are a good fit, I will schedule the second meet and greet that will take place at YOUR home, where we can go over your dog’s schedule, routine and your home’s rules. Immediately, after those two meetings, if we both still feel comfortable, I will accept the request. I know this takes a little more effort, I do this to ensure everyone’s safety and to make sure we all feel comfortable and confident in me watching your pet and being in your home Once I have watched your dog, we will no longer need meet and greets.

Let me know your dog’s schedule. If they have certain potty times and what time they eat so we can keep them on their schedule, making them feel more secure. Also, Please let me know if your dog has any behavioral issues that I should know about, or what they do not like and what I should avoid. Lastly, let me know what your dog likes to do so we can incorporate that into our time together.
A typical day
I love to play with all dogs whether it’s playing fetch or enjoy taking them on a walk in the neighborhood or a local park to smell all the cool scents and check out the new sights.

Availability
I work from home and I have lots of free time, luckily, so I am able to take lots of breaks and go for walks whenever needed!! I only watch 1 families dog(s) at a time, so you know your animal(s) are getting ALL the attention and don’t have to worry about other animals in the home.
