Pet care experience
I'm passionate about my love of animals, especially dogs. I was raised to be a dog lover by my parents and also other volunteers with Greyhound Placement Service of New Hampshire, who got me as a twelve-year-old and taught me the way of the dog. I have experience as a dog owner and I worked as a doggy daycare associate for two years and have experience in the dog groomer's. I've also been pet sitting privately for over five years.

Colleen has watched our dogs many times. She is super nice and understanding (especially when our schedule changes). Du and Fluffin are always happy and content when we come home. We are so lucky to have found such a responsible, dog loving person! Definitely recommend her!!

Colleen is an amazing person who has a passion for all animals. She has taken care of my Border Collies on multiple occasions. It is such a relief when you can actually go on vacation and not be concerned about the level of care that your pets are receiving. If a dog is skittish or shy, I would definitely like to meet the dog for the first time with their owner in a space where the dog is comfortable to make sure that the meeting doesn't cause excess stress for the dog. I don't have breed preferences, per se, but I adore greyhounds. My family has had greyhounds since 1999 and I'm very comfortable with and knowledgeable about greyhounds' special needs or behaviors. I also have a lot of experience with labradors and when I worked at doggy daycare, I spent a lot of time with terriers.
A typical day
I provide sitting services at clients' home only. I think it's important to ensure the comfort of your dog to be in their own environment. I love taking dogs on long walks, making sure they get enough time to do some quality sniffing. I'd also be happy to take dogs to local dog parks to play with other dogs. I also love playing fetch and tug and running around the yard with playful pups!
