Pet care experience
I have lived with and cared for animals for the last 15 years. Since moving to the west coast a little over a year ago, I have found myself missing taking care of my dog at home. I am looking for a fun way to give care to pets and to have afternoons in the park accompanied by a furry friend! I most recently fostered a cat for 5 months and have spent the better half of my life caring for and raising my dog back home in NJ! Before college, I was always dog sitting, cat sitting and house sitting for family friends and neighbors which I loved.

Colleen was great with Lil’ Chips. She was very communicative and shared some photos of their walk and park visit. She’s also able to keep our minds at ease considering this was Chips’s first daycare in San Francisco since we moved here a few months ago. Thank you! Really appreciate your help with watching Lil’ Chips.
Colleen is a great dogsitter! She did such fun things with Maple all weekend. They went to multiple parks, the beach, etc! Maple loves her :)

I have been using Colleen as my dog walker for several months now, and I am incredibly happy with the service she provides. My dog, Beau, is very hyper and can sometimes be hard to manage. I was initially nervous that I would not be able to find a dog walker who is up for the challenge of walking him.. but that is when Colleen came along! She handles Beau with a lot of care and love and treats him like her own. I cannot recommend her enough!

My house is very pet friendly with a lot of space and room to play. Unfortunately, we do not have a backyard but I live very close to Alta Plaza park which might arguably be better than a backyard for some dogs! I used to foster a cat and therefore our house is very cat-proof. As for what I can do for going to a pet's home, I prefer to be active in the mornings before work so a nice long walk is definitely something I can do! If you have a backyard then I am definitely happy to play around in the back yard with your pet too :)

Availability
Pet care fits into my daily routine / weekly routine before and after the workday (Mon, Weds, Thurs, I am the office in FiDi and any time Tuesdays and Fridays as I work from home those days). Saturdays and Sundays I typically find an excuse to be outside whether it be surfing, riding my bike or reading a book in the park so those days are always flexible for pet sitting and or house sitting!
