Let Me Love Your Pet! 💞
Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m a registered nurse with 4 days off per week, so I’m looking to get into pet care for a fun way to earn some extra cash. Right now, I have my own dog, Memphis, a 4 year old rescue from Mississippi who unequivocally owns my heart and soul. That’s her in my profile picture! And last year we adopted our 10 year old cat, Eve, from a rescue and she’s been the sweetest most cuddly first cat I could’ve hoped for! I’ve had dogs all my life, and I’ve done pet sitting for years for friends, family, and neighbors. I mostly have experience with cats and dogs, but I’ve also looked after fish, guinea pigs, and hamsters! Because of my ever changing work schedule and my apartment complex’s policy, I cannot offer regular weekly schedules or boarding/pet sitting, but I would love nothing more than to walk your dog or stop in and rub a belly or fill a food dish, or clean up a litter box and refill some water bowls! Let me know what you’re looking for and I’ll see what I can do to help!
Reviews
Super helpful and friendly! Tidus is always happy to see Colleen!
Colleen was very reliable. She came on time each day and took good care of my kitties.
Colleen was such a big help! Each session she was able to walk, feed and check-in on my big guy! Tidus loved greeting her and going for a walks. Would recommend and use her again!
This was the first time Colleen took care of our two indoor cats while we were away. I was very happy with her level of communication, and our cats seemed to be very comfortable around her. I would definitely recommend her to a future client.

I always do best to make pets and owners feel safe and secure when I walk or drop in on their pets. I love a good Ring or other keyless entry that lets you know when I arrive and when I leave. I’m careful to lock the door both when we head out on our walk and again when I leave your home after a walk. I try to squeeze myself in the door if I’m not sure if your pet would try to bolt out when I open it. And I love to take and send pictures of our walk or drop-in when I complete the visit. I’ve been known to reach out with the chat feature if I have questions during a visit, but can absolutely make safe decisions for your pet if you aren’t reachable while I’m there.
Information Colleen G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about your dog’s personality. Is he food aggressive? Does she love ear rubs but hate belly rubs? Does he get nervous or aggressive around other dogs we might encounter on our walk? Any allergies or medications he or she needs? Will your let try to get out of the door when I enter your home? It’s best to be prepared with this kind of info ahead of time!
A typical day
We can walk in your neighborhood, or if you’d prefer, I can take you dog to a local state park for some woodsy walks! My dog and I frequent Ashland State Park when the weather is agreeable! By all means, let me know where the best walk spots are near your home!

This is just something I do for fun on the side— I work 36-48 hours a week and squeeze in Rover visits on my days off just to get myself out and walking and meet some friendly pets and owners! My schedule changes every week, so I do my best to keep my rover calendar up to date also. For my safety and the safety of your pet, I do not accept walks after dark. That means more limited hours in the winter time, but also goes for the darker hours of summer. Sorry for any inconvenience.
