Have cats, need my dog fix!
Pet care experience
I have approximately 10 years of experience caring for all varieties of animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and one stray ferret), and now work as an assistant in a veterinary hospital and am in school for my veterinary technician degree. I have two cats that I love dearly, but I think I need some puppy love in my life! I would love to be the person that keeps your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable when you're at work or out of town. I know how hard it is to leave your four-legged loved ones at home, so I strive to give each and every pet the care I would want somebody to give my kitties if I were away. Drop me a line if you need a substitute "you" to watch over your cat or dog!
Reviews
I would highly recommend Colleen. She did drop in visits for me the last
Colleen took the appointment on short notice, and sent a few pictures of Archer (who looked apprehensive at first), the last of which he had his paw in her hand! He generally doesn't warm up so quickly to someone new, so Colleen must have a way about her. Will definitely be asking Colleen to let the mutt out next time the need arises.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and security are my two biggest priorities. I know how heartbroken I would be if my pets got sick, injured, or lost so I tend to be a little bit of a mama hen! But after leashes/collars are secure, choking/environmental hazards are out of the way, and the fence door is secure, it’s all about showering your fur baby with attention and love
Information Colleen G. would like to know about your pet
Are there any hazards we should try to avoid (if possible) on a walk that would make your dog unusually scared/aggressive? (i.e. not good around other dogs, tendency to chase squirrels, etc.) Is your dog an escape artist? (Do I have to be extra careful opening doors when entering or leaving?)
A typical day
I have fallen in love with the parks in this area, so if there's one in walking distance from your house I would love to take your pup there! I'm a big fan of the old standbys like fetch but if your dog is more sedate and would rather just hang out with a human pal, I will never say no to cuddles.
Services
Colleen can watch in your home
Availability
I currently work full time, so my availability is more limited than it has been in the past. But when I’m able, I would love to squeeze in some more animal time.
