The two great canine loves of my life were a 200-lb Newfoundland and a 165-lb Saint Bernard. At our house, we love all the fur and slobber. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom with lots of love to share with furry friends. I'm happy to host your pet at my house or pop by yours for care, feeding, playdates and walks. Kitties, too!

I'm definitely a spoiler, but can help your pet stick to their regimen as needed and make sure they get plenty of affection along with their care. For those interested in boarding at my house, I live in a very walkable neighborhood and I have a deck that can be gated off for lazing in good weather. I don't have a fenced-in yard so if your dog is high energy and requires a lot of exercise we may not be a good fit. I'm happy to take field trips to the dog park when our schedule allows. I'm comfortable with crating if needed but happy to allow free roam of the house for pets that don't require it.

I’m overtly affectionate and used to big, friendly beasts, so if your furry friend is more cautious or anxious just let me know so I can tone it down as needed. Since I don't have a fenced-in yard and can only provide leash walks, I can't offer your dog a lot of free-roam outside play and exercise. While someone is home most of the day, there may be times when your dog is left alone for 4-6 hours. If your pup needs constant supervision or requires potty breaks every 2 hours we won't be able to meet those needs for more than a day or two.
A typical day
Is your dog a couch potato? We’ll chill. A dedicated fire hydrant sniffer? Let’s go for a walk through the neighborhood. Even better if there’s snow, I love snow! Fun activities will be tailored to your pets’ needs. Indoor and outdoor playtime, cuddles, working on skills - what do you want to do today?

Availability
I'm currently a stay-at-home mom and musician with a very flexible schedule. Busy concert weeks and weekends will be blocked off on my calendar well in advance. I have a 14-year old daughter (also an animal lover) so overnights need to be at my house, but otherwise I'm free to schedule my days as needed.
