I've had dogs--as big as a St. Bernard, to as little as a Jack Russell--since I was six years old. I've also been a dog sitter for friends and family for years, helping care for dogs (and cats) with a range of health issues. From perfectly healthy, active pups; to senior dogs who need more specialized care and attention--I'm comfortable taking care of their needs. Generally, I have a good amount of extra treats and toys to keep furry visitors occupied when they stay with me. And midday walks, too, of course! As for being a former jack russell owner myself, my dog Charley and I did everything together: hiking, running, lots of ball play (he loved fetch!), and even studying for the bar exam together. Although I'm not ready to replace my best friend yet, I'm happy to provide the same loving and caring environment to help watch other's dogs.
