Pet care experience
My name is Colleen and I am an operating room nurse at VCU! I love animals—I have had everything from birds and lizards to dogs growing up. Unfortunately I am not in the place to cuddle one full time, so I chose to become a part of Rover so I can fulfill my need for animal contact while also ensuring I give each pet my full attention (by doing this on my days off—however right now I work 5 days). I will not commit to a walk and/or sit during the times I am working (m-f 7am-3:30pm) but weekends and week days after 4 I can dedicate my care and affection to your furry friends! I live in downtown RVA area but am willing to venture about 5 miles outside to help you out and spend time with some cuties. If you are ok with leaving your pet for 8 hours at a time I often accept onboarding requests

Colleen was amazing! This was our first time boarding our dog with someone from Rover and we couldn’t have been more thankful for how well she took care of our Callie. She sent so many photo updates everyday and took her for so many walks. Couldn’t recommend Colleen more.
Colleen was super accommodating and communicated regular updates. She put me at ease at leaving my fur babies with her.

I’m huge on changing up scenery for myself on walks, and that philosophy will continue when I take care of your dog—parks, fenced in areas to play fetch, or a casual stroll through the city.
