Fun Loving and Experienced Care
Pet care experience
I have been around animals my entire life. Mostly dogs, cats and birds with an occasional farm animal and even a couple gorillas here and there. I rescue and rehome animals when the need arises and at the moment there are 5 dogs, 2 outdoor cats and 2 birds that live with me so there's plenty of puppy playtime here. I live right next to a park with plenty of room to roam and chase a ball.
Reviews
Colleen has come through on short notice for me on multiple occasions. I have a very challenging dog to find a dogsitter for. Due to his history, he has separation anxiety, isolation distress, and confinement distress. He is also quite nervous around other dogs after being attacked and bitten by a dog earlier this year. We've made progress on all these issues but having a sitter who understands and accommodates my dog's needs makes a world of difference. Colleen is great with my dog and always takes the time to integrate him with her pack. And he absolutely loves her!
Colleen was great with my dog Pogo! He's a rescue with very bad separation anxiety so it can be hard to find a sitter for him. Colleen accommodated his needs, including giving him daily medication, always keeping him on a leash outside, never leaving him alone, and spending tons of time bonding with him and making him comfortable. She also did a free meet and greet beforehand to ensure compatibility with her dog Milli, and slowly introduced her other dogs to him in her home. I was initially nervous about having my 70 lb clumsy doofus around her 8 Chihuahuas but they did great together.
Colleen is great, our dogs love her and can't wait to see her!
Colleen is great with Nate. He gets great care and loves having fun with the other dogs. Definitely recommend her!

I have two fenced areas. One is a large driveway with a large container garden where we spend most of our time and another side yard that has a BBQ area and also the main potty spot. The dogs have indoor outdoor access most of the day weather permitting. I also have a decent size home so there is plenty of room inside for playing and quite time.

Information Colleen C. would like to know about your pet
It's good to know your dogs daily schedule as far as eating time, walk time etc. and any special needs, dietary restrictions or medications. Also, any special or goofy habits they have or favorite toys and play activities.
A typical day
A typical day here starts with potty time and treat time. Next is human coffee time and free play for the dogs. After that walk time starts, bigger dogs first for park time, ball chasing and possibly some creek wading. Then smaller dogs go for walks in groups of 2-3. I usually feed my dogs a full meal in the late afternoon as they are given some treats throughout the day for positive reinforcement.
