Pet care experience
I have over 30 years of experience with animals, including 20 years of personal dog experience and dog sitting for family a friends and have been sitting through Rover for almost a year now. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. My family includes two adorable, medium sized, mixed bread rescue pups. Noodle is 6 years old and Freyja is 3. We also have 60yr (ish) old Amazon parrot, Zeus, and a year old bearded dragon, Scratch. I have experience working in pet shops, rescuing animals of all shapes a sizes, and pet sitting and would enjoy the opportunity to meet and care for your pup! I am home all day almost every day, which makes my hours fairly flexible for walks, daycare, and boarding. I have a large, fully fenced back yard that our two dogs would love to share with your fur baby. There is always someone home, so they will never be alone. As with our dogs, yours would be allowed indoor and out. We offer love and attention, snuggles, exercise, and plenty of toys and balls to play with around the yard and inside.

Colleen and her family welcomed my high energy adolescent pup into their family and treated her like a member of their pack. Colleen sent photos with updates to let me know how my girl was fitting in. She had a blast running around their large back yard with their dogs. In fact, she tried to run back into their house when I came to pick her up, so I think she would give Colleen and family two paws up! ?
Colleen was wonderful with MayZ and I know that MayZ had a wonderful time since she did not want to leave when it was time to go! Colleen sent messages, photos and videos to me every day and kept me updated on what MayZ was busy doing. MayZ can't wait to go back to play with her new furry and human friends! Colleen watched our 4 month old puppy and was so great! We had a meet and greet before and then when I dropped off my pup she sent me photos right away that she was settling in. She also sent me photos and videos throughout the day. My pup had a pee accident in the house and Colleen was understanding. Mina loved playing with her two dogs, and was good and tired at the end of the day!

Let me know if there are any special needs for your dog so I can accommodate. I try my best to keep scheduled pups on schedule with walks, feeding, etc. We cannot accept dogs who are not comfortable with children or other dogs. Additionally, I am open to puppies who have not yet been fixed, but will not accept adolescent (roughly 6 months and up) or older un-neutered males. I also accept last minute bookings, but I much prefer to have time to do a meet a greet first. If time does not allow for that, I typically ask the humans to allow extra time for drop-off to make sure there are no issues before leaving.
A typical day
We like to explore and play in the back yard, go on neighborhood walks, and find short trails for those hiking dogs. We have two loving dogs who love to run and play in the yard with new fur friends. They can be a bit intimidating at first, but are all bark and really just excited to play.

I am home every day and plan outings around stays so that errands don't get in the way. My husband works from home as well, so if I do need to leave for any reason, the dogs are never alone.
