*I am a full time ER veterinary nurse and usually work 10 hour shifts* I have pet sat for multiple years privately. I have always been the go-to person for pet care and advice for friends, family and neighbors. I am trustworthy and would care for your pets as if they were my own. I am experienced in all types of dogs and cats. I am married with many animals of our own so my husband sometimes likes to tag along for additional attention and play time with the pets; if you don’t mind! I am comfortable giving any medication/injection needed or feeding a specific diet. I am totally fine with special needs pets too!

Colleen has watched my dog while I’ve needed to be out of town on business and I had no doubts, Bella was in good hands. Colleen let me know when she arrived and sent me several pics throughout the visit. Her love for animals is abundantly apparent and I had zero concerns about my dogs wellbeing while with Colleen.
Colleen was excellent! She took great care of our baby and gave us regular updates and pictures. Would definitely recommend!
Colleen did an excellent job taking care of our animals, respecting their needs and boundaries, keeping them safe, and keeping us informed. She came over a few times prior to the booking to help the animals become familiar with her. She is trustworthy and left the house clean and tidy. She was very kind to us. We recommend Colleen to others who need a sitter! We have three dogs and one cat.

I prefer to care for pets in their normal environment so I would not prefer having your pets come to my house. The drastic change can cause behavioral problems or stress and anxiety that does more harm than good. I take photos daily and provide updates too. I like pet photography so I’ll make sure to take some great photos for you (and selfies for me)! I like to keep pet owners in the loop as much as possible. Pets are our babies and we always want to make sure they are doing well! I’ve had my fair share of bad experiences with my own animals with sitters and I would never jeopardize the safety, quality or care for your animals.

A typical day
I do love running around in the yard to get some exercise while playing. I’m always down to provide a good doggie or kitty massage as they deserve the best treatment. If your dog is training I will do my best to continue with commands and treats too. For cats I’m happy to play with them or just read a book or crochet on the couch and give them snuggles.

*****I do have a full time job 4 days a week (Wednesday through Saturday) but do my best to accommodate all parties involved. For right now my best options would be morning and evening visits. I don’t have a long enough lunch time to be able to make midday stops unless it’s a weekend.******
