Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Colin and I am a 2nd year student at UCLA. I am studying political science and statistics. I am very involved on campus through extracurricular clubs. I am in the Campus Events Commission and Academic Affairs Commission. Both clubs require strong communication skills and organizational skills. Other than that, I am currently working as a leadership development intern with RippleMatch, a job-matching platform for students! I am so excited to play with your dogs and get to know them. Being away from my dogs while I'm in school has been so hard for me. Hopefully, I can use Rover to feel like I'm back home with them! My dogs are my best friends and I love them with my whole heart. I can't even remember living without pets because I've had dogs for almost my whole life. I am in charge of feeding, walking, and picking up after them so I do carry a lot of responsibility but I love their company so it's without a doubt worth the work. My oldest dog (Emma) has been with us since I was 4 or 5 so I have grown up with her and she is the sweetest thing ever. II am so happy that she still has the energy to go on walks and be around us. My other dog (Maggie) is around 8 and she is just a bundle of energy. She goes crazy for breakfast and dinner and there's nothing more she loves than being outside (especially swimming). My dogs are my everything as I am sure they are for you and I definitely plan to treat them as my own.

I met Colin last fall when we became roommates. Even through living in a small dorm room with three people we haven't gotten sick of each other. We decided to room again this year and even have plans to room next year as well! Through the last few years, I have noticed Colin's responsibility, organization, and overall charisma. I think that he would be an amazing person to trust with your pets because I see how he strives to be a responsible student and roommate. Colin would be the perfect partner for your pets.

Unfortunately, I don't have capacity to care for a dog where I live on campus. However, I am more than experienced walking dogs and can go anywhere around campus to pick up your dog and walk them around the neighborhood. Any rules or restrictions you have for your pet will be followed and respected. All I ask is that you communicate what you need/want with me!

Please just inform me of any health barriers that your dog may have. As well as their physical levels. I am more than happy to go on runs or slow walks with any dog. Also, please let me know if your dog is well-trained on a leash or if they should stay away from other animals.
A typical day
I am someone who loves to be outside, whether that's running, hiking, camping, you name it. I have been running around Westwood for a long time so I know the streets quite well. I also love the parks in Westwood and would love to take your dogs there! Also, the UCLA campus is very big and dog-friendly so I know that we would have so much fun (college students love dogs!).

Availability
I am currently a full-time student but find myself having a lot of time in between classes and especially on weekends. Hopefully, I can use this time to get outside and play with your pups!
