Pet care experience
I grew up with several family pets and my wife and I currently have 2 very active Australian Shepherds. My wife and I are outdoorsy and love walking, hiking, training and playing with our dogs. I’m currently available for walking services as well as drop-in visits. If you have a fenced area, I may also be able to provide doggy playdates with one of my Aussies to give your pet some playtime!

I have known Colin for a number of years and my dog has had numourus play dates with his two Australian Shepherds. I know he goes above and beyond in the care of his own pets and he would certainly do the same for others. I would certainly trust him to care for my fur family members!
Colin is a very responsible and caring pet owner. I have boarded his two dogs many times over the years and it is always a pleasure to have them stay. What has impressed me the most about Colin is the wonderful relationship he has created with both his dogs. Their safety and well-being are of the utmost importance to him. This is clear to me from the food he feeds them, the training they’ve had, the interactions he has with with them and the happiness and good health I see in both his dogs.

I’m happy to do drop-in services, and offer stimulating play sessions as well as exercise to keep your pet(s) occupied while you’re absent. One of my Aussies can join for added socialization/play sessions. A meet and greet is suggested prior to our first play session to ensure the dogs are compatible.

I’d love to know how your dog is motivated. Are they food, praise or toy driven? Do they already know any games/tricks that they particularly enjoy? Do they have any fears or behavioural issues that you’d like avoided? It’s important for you to know that although I’m happy to work with your dog on behavioural issues in a controlled environment when I’m providing my services, I’m not a full-time dog trainer and therefore will not guarantee any results during our limited sessions. My time will primarily be spent with exercise and stimulating play.
A typical day
I have experience training, teaching tricks/games to provide mental stimulation to your dogs. Whatever motivates your dog, I’ll make sure they have a good time and burn their energy! I can do walks/hikes with varying degrees of intensity to suit your animal.

Availability
In 2024 I’m available Saturdays & Sundays (usually anytime) and Mon-Fri (only after 6pm). My days off largely revolve around time with my wife and dogs outdoors, so some extra walks/drop-ins are easy to fit into my schedule.
