Pet care experience
Since I was 5 years old, I’ve had a dog. I started out with a laborador puppy, and had him for 12 years until he passed. I now have a 1 year old lab puppy, that I got when he was 8 weeks. I have experience both raising a puppy and caring for older (senior) dogs. In addition, I have numerous friends with dogs that I’ve watched over while they were out of town. I also have experience pet sitting for my ex wrestling coaches’ dogs as well. I’m very experienced with dogs and dogsitting at others’ homes. I have some experience training puppies as well with my dog I have now. Examples include “sit,” “lay down,” and “stay.” My dog is fully crate trained, sits before eating and waits to get the “okay,” knows how to “shake paws,” and I am currently working with him on walking without pulling.

Literally amazing! Took care of my lil ma for 2 days and I didn’t stress one bit. Got so many pictures from the visits and videos.
Colin was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. He was able to give my dog a long walk for the time and kept me updated throughout the time. Would recommend to anyone in Folsom/Sacramento area!

Depending on the dog, I’ll make sure to tend to their specific needs. So for instance, my labrador needs constant interaction and stimulation, so I make sure to play with my dog at least 3 times a day and/or go for a walk. I make sure the dog has gone out to go potty multiple times throughout the day, keep their water and food up refilled, and provide treats to them after they go potty. I also ensure that you come home to a cleaner condition than you left it.

Let me know how much maintenance is required for your dog. For my dog, he’s very high maintenance and goes crazy at times so that’d be important to know beforehand. Any allergies or things to stay away from that may get your dog sick, as well as some behavioral habits your dog may do that other people wouldn’t know about unless they were around your dog often. Also, their favorite treat and how they like to play.
A typical day
I personally like taking my dog to the lake and he loves the water in general. If your dog can catch a ball, they’ll have a ton of fun with me and I will take your dog out for multiple walks to get them fresh air and sniff around. I enjoy taking a dog out to a new spot and letting them explore. Anything your pet enjoys doing to provide them stimulation and release some built up energy.

Availability
I play college football locally so from March through May 2024, I will have practice on Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 to 7 pm and early morning practices on Tuesday and Thursday and will be available after 11 am. The rest of the week I will typically be available for the full day (Friday to Sunday).
