There has never been a time in my life when I didn't have a dog; almost all of my fondest memories have a dog at the center of them. During my 22 years, my family has had 8 dogs (yes, my mom is a crazy dog/cat lady), and they have each been loved unconditionally. We've had them all: big dogs, small dogs, outgoing dogs, sassy dogs, nervous dogs, special needs dogs, senior dogs. Growing up with so many different dogs taught me about responsibility and patience from a young age, a lot of which I learned from my mom. Being the family who had a house full of animals, our friends and neighbors would come to us first if they needed someone to watch their pets if they were away; so I have alot of experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities and enjoy getting to know each dog I take care of. My lifestyle is fairly active; I typically like to go on hikes, jogs, or long walks around town during the day, but I also enjoy lazy hours on the couch whether it be watching a movie, reading, or vegging out. All of these activities would be 10x better with your dog, whether your pup is a couch potato or high energy.
