Some say that animals are able to sense certain qualities in humans: I constantly see this preposition become reality whenever Colette is around dogs. Whether it’s one of the many dogs she boards or her own peppy thirteen year old Havanese rescue, Lorenzo, all dogs are immediately drawn in to Colette’s innately caring and nurturing personality. I have seen dog owners routinely go from anxious leaving their little (or big) trouble makers with a stranger to shocked at how well behaved and comfortable the dogs stay or walk with their new friend Colette inevitably ends up being. I have come to the conclusion that this special bond is a result of Colette’s unfaltering love for all forms of life. I will never forget the time I was walking to the pier with Colette when she heard the meows of some stray kittens coming from underneath, she refused to take another step until we had fished each of the little furballs out and brought them to our local shelter. I could not possibly hold anymore confidence in the statement that there is no better candidate to care for your dog than Colette!
