*****Unfortunately will be unable to host pups for a bit as we will be in temporary housing after we close on our home in april and find our new home. Apologies for the inconvenience!*** I have been in love with animals since i was a little girl. I am now 34 years old with one baby girl (age 5) and 1 fur baby! I also have watched pets for family and friends as long as i can remember and have been sitting through Rover for the last 7 years (took a break for about a year after I had my daughter). I am open to drop in visits, daycare, or bringing your pet home with me to my furry farm! My daughter has a blast with our guests- which usually consists of her running around the house as the pups chaee her! She has always especially had a huge heart for the older pups, but also has the time of her life running the house with the younger, energetic pups! I truly wish Rover allowed me to post videos because we have some GREAT ones! We have a fenced in yard in a lovely, safe neighborhood in Chenango Bridge and we go on nightly walks (if the pup is up for it!). I also like to run and have a lot of the pups run with me. I know how stressful it can be going on vacation and trips and not having a trustworthy person who is going to love, play with, and care for your furry family member- we have been there! This is a huge reason I started petsitting. I want you to feel comfortable and worry free when you leave your loved one with me! We have a "second home" policy here- dogs are allowed to roam and on furniture (if applicable at home). I will mention that if there is a no furniture rule at home, I can try my best to continue that here but it is very difficult and unlikely to keep one off while others are allowed. I am always sure to send lots of updates and pictures throughout the stay as well :) Update: please note that during your dog's stay, it is likely that I will have one or a few others dogs here during that time as well so please make sure they are dog-friendly. I understand that sometimes one will not fit with another, but please make sure that, in general, they are ok with other dogs. Please also let me know of any unique tendencies- it will ensure that I can give my best care to the pups :)

Coleen was great with our 10 yr old lab who stayed with her for a week while we were on vacation. Unfortunately he has anxiety issues which cause him stomach issues at times, but Coleen was great with communicating with us the whole time. She was very good and accommodating for meeting his needs with his diet and meds, and very understanding with his issues that he had. We are very thankful for the care she provided while we were away and felt comfortable with him there the whole time. We would 10/10 recommend Coleen to anyone looking for a dog sitter!

Coleen was great and Lily had a blast there. I received pictures and updates throughout her stay. I was told how great she did with all the other dogs. This made my trip much more relaxed, knowing I didn’t have to worry about my puppy. Coleen is friendly and the dogs love her. I will be using her again, I’m sure. Thanks Coleen!

Please let me know if your dog does not get along well with other dogs or children. My daughter is very used to having all kinds of animals around and is well versed in respecting the pets, but the dog should have had previous interactions with young children. It is also helpful to know the dog's schedule- feedings, sleep routine, and also energy level as i do have more than one dog at times so i want to make sure they will work well together. In our home, dogs are allowed on the furniture, so if this is different from your home, please be sure to mention it to me and i will do my best to keep the rule in place so that i dont send a doggy home wanting to jump on your beloved antique couch! I am familiar with dogs with special needs and giving medication and insulin shots- if this is the case for your pup, i will ask that you bring a paper with the times and dosages of applications so that i can follow as you normally would at home. I have found that more you can tell me about the dog's life in your home, the easier it is for me to make the dog comfortable in mine. **Please note that a "per night" stay is based on a 24 hour period. If the stay is longer than that (say dropoff was at noon and pickup the next day was not until 7pm) I may adjust the rate to add for the extra day care. This will be included before the booking is confirmed so that you are aware.
A typical day
We love to walk the neighborhood and also spend time out back in the fenced yard or covered deck- especially early morning coffee time! We do also have a spacious, open indoor floorplan for relaxing and playtime.

I work fully remote in my home and my hours are flexible. I am very much a homebody so the pets will have lots of attention in my home! Dogs have proved to be great coworkers!
