I grew up in a home with multiple dogs, being taught that animals deserve the love, care, and compassion that we so often reserve for humans. My dad often argued that dog saliva had healing properties, but I think that was just an excuse to kiss every dog he met. My girlfriend and I have three rescues together (two pugs and a Heinz-75-of-a-boxer/pit-mix), but we've made the error of spoiling them a bit too much. Now, they arguably eat better than either of us. I'm currently a grad student at UT Southwestern, so my availability is relatively flexible. So I'm hoping to be able to provide care for some 'patients' of the furrier variety! Looking forward to meeting you and your fur-kiddos in the future!
