Need a walking buddy
Pet care experience
I'm a student who is home most of the time. I do have a job but it is literally 50 feet away from my house cause I work at my apartment complex (I live in a stand alone cottage so no worries about neighbors) so I can easily check on any dogs in my care. This year I lived with a great dane, german shepherd, and basset hound but they are all gone for the summer so I'm ready to have some more dog company this summer! I grew up always having 2 dogs in the house and I need a canine friend to give me an excuse to go out walking more. I would get my own dog to take care of but I'll be going abroad for a semester this fall and it wouldn't make any sense to get one at this time.
Reviews
Colby has personally watched my two German Shepherds. He does a great job and really cares about your pets. He will take them for walks and parks :) Colby is the best

I need to know how friendly the dog is with others in case I bring them around other people/dogs. If they're known to tear up or chew anything. If they bark/whine unreasonably (took care of a coworker's dog who would whine if I wasn't petting him). How often they go out and eat. As for dog breeds, I have yet to find one I wouldn't take care of. I lived with a german shepherd so shedding isn't an issue and when it comes to size, I lived with a great dane and back home I have a yorkie.
A typical day
I'd most likely walk around my apartment complex with them. We have a small gated area where I could let them off the leash and maybe play fetch with them. If they're spayed/neutered I could take them to the university dog park where they can play around with other dogs, but it's about a 15 minute drive from my house so I don't plan to do that all the time.
