Pet care experience
Growing up my family had a vast array of animals to caretake for. Throughout my adulthood I rescued, fostered, helped friends keep or rehome their companions and I have served as a dog trainer in the community for 16 years. I began my passion of canine stewardship when i was an early teen, earning quarters for walking elderly neighbor's dogs. I was much older when I realized that it was less about earning change and more about enabling the elders around me to continue to hold stewardship of their canine companions in sickness and in health. I have hand raised canines from birth to eldercare. I have always done this with limited land and space, now we have a ten acre haven to provide services from.

Colby did a wonderful job accommodating us with pick up and drop off. She sent pictures daily and her property appeared to be a perfect vacation for our 2 dogs.
Colby was absolutely wonderful and took such good care of our girl. She even brought Bastet with her while running an errand and brought her to our home on her way back.
Were very responsive, provided great updates and had a great property for Buddy. Glad buddy was able to stay there!
Colby (and her farm) is amazing. Our Puppy was with her for a couple nights and came back exhausted. He had the time of his life running free, playing with other pups and being well loved during his stay. She also bathed him, trimmed his bangs and helped with some training. I’m going to think of reasons to be out that way again so he can spend more time with her. Thanks for everything Colby. You’re a gem.

I have a 2 year old female mastiff who loves all dogs and people. We live on a farm and have a barn with kennel space. Our home has kennel space or we can accommodate setting up a crate inside our home. I practice building a relationship with the pet initially. To do this I will use a leash. Do you want your dog to learn to run next to your bike? That’s my favorite way to exercise. if there is a need for space or down time they can have it. Depending on your pup's needs I can accommodate activities 1 on 1 or activities with our companion, Cara. Regardless of preferences, we can discuss the best plan of care prior to your booking. I look forward to meeting you.

A typical day
We will have 10 acres with one boarder to a Brook with several private beaches. If your dog likes or needs intense exercise, we can drive up to one of the many trails in the area. I will provide the most nature filled days here at the farm.

Availability
I will have a majority of their time spent with 1:1 training and stimulation. Is your dog friendly with all other animals or do they prefer to be on their lonesome. I can accommodate down time as well as mental or physical stimulation. I can work with each dog's individual needs and owner preferences.
