Pet care experience
Hey! I’m Colby. I’m originally from Texas; I grew up in the Houston area and graduated from Texas State University. I’ve been living in New York City for 7 years and currently live in Bushwick. I live with one friend in a very quiet and private building. The building has a private backyard for your pet to run around! I live ten minutes from Maria Hernandez park, which also has a dog park. I absolutely love animals (dogs especially), and grew up with a chocolate lab named Hershey. I have experience with pet sitting for other people also as I grew up pet sitting for my neighbors, and friends. I live in a very cozy apartment in Bushwick, and I’m excited to potentially watch your pet while you’re away.

Super fast response & was patient with my anxious dog :-)
I was out of town for a wedding, and I never once worried about Cleo while she was in Colby’s care. He was kind, attentive, and let me ramble on countless instructions. Cleo clearly had a good time with Colby and came back just as happy and content as I dropped her off. I can guarantee she’s already missing their central AC!
Colby was great!! Super responsive and sent pics :) Usually my dog is super stressed after I drop him off with sitters, just because of the change and when I got him he was so chill. Obviously had the proper socialization and a good time!!!
Zora clearly really enjoys staying with Colby! She stays eagerly and hesitates to leave when we pick her up. Highly recommended!

Your dog needs to be house trained, my roommate and I keep our place pretty clean. I totally understand that mistakes happen, but not constantly. I’m also unable to watch dogs who have separation anxiety issues.
A typical day
I usually take the dogs I’m watching to Maria Hernandez, and take them on my morning walks with me. If you are comfortable with them playing with other dogs, I can take them to the dog park also.

I work from home, so I have plenty of time to take your dog on walks! I try to leave my apartment as much as possible during the day.
