Pet care experience
After living with a roommate several years ago who had a dog that I ultimately cared for, I realized that there is a special place in my heart for not only my family pets, but for all our furry friends. I think I've figured out that being as transparent and respectful as possible with pets and people alike is the most effective way to approach any situation. I enjoy spending my time outside and getting exercise so any chance I get to add a pup into that mix is always great for me. My job allows me to have a flexible schedule so with some heads up I could be available to take care of your pets/house on a schedule that suits your pet's needs. Currently I live alone in an apartment with few surrounding neighbors and a very large yard.

First of all, I would trust Cody with my own life and/or the life of my small child. So, it is no surprise that I have entrusted my fur childrens’ lives to him on multiple occasions - and there are a bunch of them. When I go out of town and know Cody is taking care of things back home, I don’t worry at all the entire time I’m away. Plus, he doesn’t just feed everyone and leave. He plays with them, gives them lots of love and attention (probably more than they get when we are home, actually), and sends pictures to let us know they are doing just fine. It means the world to me to have someone so sincerely trustworthy and dependable to love on my babies while I am gone. One time, he even made multiple stops at multiple houses to take care of our multiple pets, and never batted an eye or seemed remotely annoyed or inconvenienced by the circumstances. He just loves our animals and takes care of them like his own, no questions asked.
Cody has kept my dog several times and I always come home to a happy dog! My dog gets very nervous even just leaving her at the groomer so having Cody to love and play with her while I am gone is always a relief and huge help!
Cody has always treated my two wild dogs like family and loved them so much! He’s diligent with routine and feeding schedule, and always made sure they felt safe and happy. He would take wonderful care of any of your fur babies and he has experience with many different breeds and sizes of dogs.
Cody kept my sweet golden doodle puppy, Lyla, for a long weekend and was PHENOMENAL!! I did not worry about her even once while she was in his care! He would send me updates on her and let me know how she was doing while I was gone, which I really appreciated. He asked all kinds of questions and helped to keep Lyla's schedule normal even when she was away from home. Lyla was as happy as she could be when I picked her up! When it comes to trusting someone with your fur baby, Cody is definitely one of the best. He has proven to be one of the most trustworthy people I know! Highly highly recommend!
