I've raised and been around dogs since I was a 3 years old. My first dog was a Cocker Spaniel/Terrier Mix that was my best friend for 20 years; once I was a little older I was in charge of her caretaking including feeding, bathing, brushing, walking, and playtime until I left for university. Since then I have housed numerous puppies and young dogs which I helped to train including Labrador retrievers, German Shepherds, Huskies, Maltipoos, Terriers, and other mixed breeds. I have also had the chance to live with and shower cats with love and affection! Dog Walking: I can tailor your pups walk according to his/her needs as you wish. Whether they have lots of energy to get out before nighttime, like to explore a park, or prefer to go on long slow walks with lots of sights to see (and smell), I will be there for you! Drop-In: Your pooch with get all the care and play time needed to ensure they don't get bored and get all that built up energy out of their system. Have cats? They are all inquisitive (and sometimes scared) but I will be sure to make friends and give them the attention they need. Dog-Sitting: Unfortunately life takes us away from our furry friends at times, but rest assured I am here to help! You can sleep easy while away leaving your pets with me in your home; mom/dad being gone is tough, but they will be occupied with their new buddy. I love to give dogs activities while were not playing, as well, like apple chunks or peanut butter in a Kong Ball. You also can be assured I will keep your home clean. During pet-sitting and after I like to give your pets a nice brush to rid them of that winter coat and sweep/vacuum the home as needed to clear the debris. Our beloved pets are important members of the family so I will show your fur babies the love & respect they deserve!
