Pet care experience
I've had a dog in my household from birth to present. I have experience with animals of all sizes from dogs that can fit in your pocket to dogs that could take down a grizzly. I was a foster home for a pitbull rescue in Iowa, so I saw dogs of all backgrounds and temperments. I also fostered a momma dog and her newborns and decided I couldn't part with the mother. Experience with puppies implied.

Cody seemed to really understand dogs, and as the caretaker of a pup with complicated emotions, we appreciate that! He let Rio hang out with him outside, and managed his unexpected hyper energy (we took him out twice before dropping him off) really well. We definitely recommend Cody and will book with him again!
Cody loves animals and goes above and beyond to make sure our dog is taken care of. He keeps our aged pup on a schedule with feeding times and making sure she gets her daily joint health medicine. He will welcome your animal with open arms and a safe home while you are away.

We do have a dog and a cat in the house. Our dog is not friendly with other dogs but she doesn't mind sharing her space with strangers. Our home had an addition built on and your pupper would have a bedroom and office all to themself. We have a fenced back yard with plenty of space to play fetch or mosey around.

Besides the basics (house trained, eating schedule, etc) I would like to know if your dog is good with other animals or strangers. Please note if your dog has a gender bias. Our home has a dog that will be kept separate at all times, a cat that may interact with your pet unless you say otherwise, myself, and an adult female. Also include aggression triggers or any commands you are working on. I'm happy to provide light training and mental stimulation.
A typical day
With a larger back yard, we can play fetch to your heart's desire. The Jordan Creek Trail is right down the road from our house and provides an adventurous walk for doggos. I also have a path I like to walk with my dog that is free of distractions and rather secluded to avoid any triggers.

I work from home so I will be spending the majoriy of the day in the office with your pet. No shortage of human contact for our furry guests. Please let me know of any other accommodations. I aim to provide peak peace of mind so you have one less thing to stress about while you are away.
