Pet care experience
I have experience working with many animals, including dogs, cats, bearded dragons, and wildlife. I am comfortable taking animals for walks, administering medications, and cleaning litter boxes or messes that may happen as a result of loose bowels. I have my own senior beagle, so I also am familiar with senior animal care.

I would absolutely recommend Codey to care for your fur children. Our pack of 4 dogs is always treated like family by Codey. She has the perfect demeanor and patience with dogs of all ages. Whether you need a person for a day or longer, Codey should be the top of the list.
Codey is a former co-worker and friend of mine who watched my dog for me when I would go on vacation. She is amazing with animals and truly cares about the pets in her care. She was willing to take my dog to the vet multiple times while I was gone and always contacted me with any concerns that arose. We also volunteered at the wildlife center together and she constantly strives to grow her knowledge on care of exotic animals (including snakes, turtles, lizards, etc.) and is incredibly hard working. I would entrust Codey with any of my pets! 🙂
Codey cared for 2 high needs cats. She was responsible, professional, and caring. She fed the cats, cleaned their litter boxes, administered medicine, and played with them. She sent pictures of them to let us know how they were doing. She was an excellent communicator before, during, and after the pet sitting.
Codey M. is a fantastic human and even better pet caregiver. They are loving, detail oriented and genuinely enjoy taking care of a range of pets and animals. From an entomology PHD student, to volunteer at local wildlife shelters, pet friend and sitter of my cats in the last four years, I have seen Codey care take for reptiles, cats and dogs and animals with special needs or are elderly. 10/10 recommend Codey M. for all pet caregiving!

My two friendly dogs love playing with other dogs. My senior beagle mostly naps, but my 1-yr old australian shepherd loves to play and can be very gentle with animals that require that. I take my aussie on daily walks, frisbee throwing at a field near my house, or the Tudek dog park and could easily bring another's dog if needed. At the dog park, I am more than willing to step in and advocate for my dog (and yours!) if there is an unruly dog who needs to be removed. In my home, everyone is up to date on their vaccines and routine checkups.

A typical day
On a typical day, I can take the dogs to Tudek dog park, walk them around my neighborhood, and let them play with my own dogs. Cats will have free roam if the house with the office gated off from the dogs.

As an all-but-dissertation doctoral student, I am able to make my own hours. I also stay in town during the holidays and will be available at those times.
