Ive had a dog since I was a kid and have lived in a house with typically 5 or more animals. My most recent partner was a 16 year old Pomeranian that people used to fight over to babysit and housesit for me because he was awesome - like a little person. This little dude followed me everywhere, slept on my bed, watched movies with me and if I was making something he could eat, he'd have a seat at the table. He was the only Pomeranian anyone had ever seen that didn't yap, didn't snap at anyone and didnt need a leash. I work from home, so others in my building let me watch their fluff balls whenever necessary. I am the guy that sees a dog on the side of the street being walked and I typicaly take a Snapchat and post it to my story. Its about the only time I do. Everyone always asks, 'where do you get all these dogs from'. My house is mostly wood and leather couches and as long as they dont scratch on things, I could care less what they do or where they go - because by the end of the visit, we are going to be best friends and probably your dog will like me more than you which may be a bad thing to tell people - it's just the truth. ;-) My Pomeranian had diabetes and Cushing and I had to administer medicine twice daily (injections). He also went blind and had hip dysphasia and I took care of him non stop for almost a year before he just couldnt live any longer. I was a medic in the army and while first aid on a dog isn't exactly the same, I know how to treat and administer first aid in the event something were to happen. I also like to tell dogs jokes because they cant tell me they are dumb - so I really hope your dog has a sense of humor.
