Pets are like crisps, it's hard to have just one!
Pet care experience
Unfortunately I can't afford more than one so I will just have to be creative! I grew up with dogs, cats and horses, I had my own dog when I was 10 and she lived to a grand old age of 17. I now have a beautiful sighthound called Echo who is 4 years old. I have looked after various friends and family's dogs from Jack Russells to a wire-haired Hungarian Vizla. I trained my dog using only positive methods, and only interact with dogs in that way. I am a volunteer driver, which requires a current DBS check, but apart from that I am at home full time, unable to work due to disability. However I would like to open my home and life up to a couple more dogs, and other animals. Walking - would need to be dog friendly as I bring mine to walk as well as I'm unable to walk more than once a day for more than an hour (no minimum as I know puppies and some breeds have limits). However I can take them somewhere exciting or on familiar ground, plenty of chances for investigating and sniffing, even some training if you wanted. I have a secured boot that only your dog/s would be in at a time. Mine would be secured elsewhere. I have a sighthound so I gave up the furniture battle very quickly! Happy to pop in and check on all sorts of animals. I can provide regular updates and photos throughout the visit and walk if you would like. Able to shower and brush as needed or wanted but I don't clip or do nails. Mileage - I will have to charge 50p per mile over ten miles from my home and extra for the time involved to travel as its just not economical otherwise, but I realise this is a bug ask on top so will always recommend finding someone closer for anything regular. Cancellations - Happy for you to cancel at any time but will charge 15% if less that an full day before and 50% if on the day. Added on to the next / current booking. Looking forward to hopefully meeting your pets! Schedule - I am currently unemployed due to disability so my schedule apart from Thursdays is pretty free. Tuesdays are a little more awkward but I am around from 10.30 to 1 and then 3.30 onwards. But please get in contact as I will try and work with you to find a way. I will care for your pets as if they were my own. Lots of love, fuss, fun and care. If you need someone to pop in while you are working and spend a bit of time and attention, if they want a walk, if your pets need food and water and bedding changed while you are on holiday, I am happy to help. I am doing this part time so please check my calendar out for my availability and also send me a message to ask as I am happy to be flexible. I care for your pets as if they were my own. We will meet and you can tell me all about how best to look after your pets and I will follow that exactly. If in doubt I will be in contact and will give regular updates
Reviews
Cluny is always professional and trustworthy. We feel completely comfortable with her coming into our house when we're away to take care of our cats. Great value and great service!
Cluny was a great pet sitter for us. Very time flexible and kept good communication. This was our first time using Rover/online pet sitter services and we had a fantastic experience thanks to Cluny. We would recommend the service in the future, thank you again Cluny!
Cluny has fulfilled her duties with high profesionalism as always. She took care of Quilla for a week while we were away and gave us daily updates with detalied description and min 4-5 photos. We will again use Cluny to help us take care of Quilla in our absence.
Thank you Cluny!
