Two stars because he showed up one out of the three days he committed to and did what I asked him to do that day. Other than that, I'm not very happy with my first experience with Rover or the sitter that I hired. Although he does have a same day cancellation policy, it seems rather ridiculous to make a plan with with someone and they cannot commit to it. He should not have accepted the job if he could not commit to the full 3 days. He walked and played with my dog one out of the three days he committed to so it left me with no one to be able to hire and I couldn't cancel because it said I would not receive a full refund if I canceled. I had to ask the Walker to cancel the walks on his end just so I could get my money back. Which he did in a timely manner. Like I said, he showed up on time and did exactly what I asked him to do. The one time that he did commit to the job that he took on was very disappointed in the two cancellations and with no option to hire someone else because I did not know he would cancel the second day as well.
