Pet care experience
With a fully fenced yard, lake access, and several vets within a 5 minute drive (just in case), I’m ready to give your dog the time of his/her life for a couple days. Give me a shout to talk about how Rover, Rufus, or Ronda can take a vacation while you're away. Born and raised with dogs my whole life. Grew up with 5 siblings- 2 older sisters and 3 dogs, and I'm pretty sure the dogs loved me more. I really enjoy having dogs around and will treat your furry children with love and thoughtfulness. If your dog likes water, the lake is nearby. If the park is more suitable, that's a block away. Should your pet need medical attention, the West Bloomfield Veterinary Hospital is less than a mile away. I'm basically able to handle anything Lassy throws at me, so bring it on! Shoot me a message about your pet needs, and we’ll take it from there.

Clayton was awesome! He is very responsible and great with our 2 extra large dogs!! It’s difficult to find someone we are comfortable with, since our dogs are so large. I highly recommend Clayton!
This is our second time using Clayton as our sitter for our two young dogs. We aren’t worried about them when we’re gone and we know they are safe and cared for! That’s really all us dog parents can hope for :)
This was my first time using Rover for my two dogs. Clayton made it very easy for my family to not worry about our dogs while we were away. He took very good care of them and even helped with things around the house. I would highly recommend Clayton to take care of your dogs.
This was our first time using Rover. We are so glad we did and are so glad we chose Clayton to care for our puppies. He provided updates at the start and end of each day and our puppies were calm and happy with Clayton there. Other than one overnight stay when a family member stayed with them, this was our first time away from them. We were able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing they were happy and safe. We would rebook with Clayton again in a heartbeat and if he wasn’t available we’d use Rover again!

I always follow the rules of the owners- whatever behavior they expect from their pets when they’re home is what I practice when they are gone. And when in the owner’s home, I always look to leave it as clean or cleaner than before I arrived.

I don’t have any breed or age restrictions other than not being the right person to implement puppy potty training. Other than that, I’ve seen it all, and nothing really intimidates me any more :)
A typical day
I’ll be looking to stimulate the dogs mentally and physically. This can include walks, play time, behavior practices, and whatever is available. I’m active myself, so bringing the dogs along for a run or walk is always great!

I work from home most days, so being with your pets for most of the day is not a problem, including staying for the night with them.
