I have been taking care of dogs and pets since before the age of 8. I grew up living on a farm where my brothers and I ran a pet daycare. During that time, I also helped train service animals for the blind because dog training and caretaking was apart of my homeschool curriculum. My brothers and I continued to pet-sit throughout our childhood and young adulthood. Over the years, I have continued to raise, train, and supervise dogs and cats of all breeds. I own a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, a Patterdale/Dachshund mix, and a long haired domestic cat so I have daily hands-on experience. I also worked for Wenatchee Valley Humane Society where I took part in training courses as well as classes on animal behavior including becoming a certified Fear Free Pets animal care associate. Working at the Humane Society also gave me more experience in how to interact with new dogs/cats so as to make the situation more comfortable for everyone. I am a kind and loving individual that knows how dogs and cats perceive energy. I know that if you're not fully comfortable with my service then your pet won't be either. I take the important steps to make sure everyone is happy, including being as quick as I can with my replies, maintaining a positive and communicative relationship, and reassuring that your pets needs are taken care of.
