I love animals of all kinds

Pet care experience

I have had experience with pet care with a family pet or close family pet for nearly my whole life so I know nearly everything animals need to be healthy and happy day to day. I also have experience with multiple different types of pets such as birds, lizards, snakes, cats, insects and crabs.

Clay knows a lot about pets and has had several different pets before, such as dogs, cats, reptiles and fish. Clay knows how to take care of pets and has a big heart for animals. He has one pet at the moment and is looking to expand his pet adoption. Clay is very flexible and willing to work with any type of animal, he learns quickly and animals seem to love him. He is very kind and gentle towards animals and loves spending his time playing and cuddling them. Clay would be a great candidate as a pet caregiver and he will love your pet as if its his own.

About Clay L.

Skills

14 years of experience
Oral medication administration
Senior dog experience

Safety, trust & environment

I've got years of experience with cat and dogs. Mainly with dogs to just keep them from eating stuff is half the battle of keeping them safe and cats while being pretty self sufficient, still require light attention here and there to make sure they are happy.

Information Clay L. would like to know about your pet

If you cat or dog is shy or protective or nervous I would like to know ahead of time so I can enter into their space respectfully and make them feel safe.

A typical day

I know that animals as intelligent as cats and dogs crave attention and structure. For cats I'm sure the structure of the cat is laying down and eating but for dogs I think it is always best to try and stick to whatever schedule they have with their owner. I'd also want to keep walks happening as much as the dog wants to because the zoomies are always around the corner for some dogs. This keeps them well behaved and happy.
