Take care of them like my own!
Pet care experience
I have over 20 years of experience caring for my own pets growing up, which included four dogs and three cats. I have also volunteered with dogs of all sizes and breeds, and even have some experience with horses. Now that I live in my own home without pets, I miss having them around everyday! Dogs bring me so much happiness, and I’m eager to share my experience, enthusiasm, and energy with all my clients. I love all types of dogs, so I don’t have any breed restrictions or preferences. All are welcome! I always appreciate meeting clients beforehand at a Meet & Greet, but have no official policies established. I really just want to get to know you and your dog and establish trust and rapport. Communication is incredibly important to me, so I always ask lots of questions to learn your pet’s needs and preferences. I want my clients to know I’m here to help make their pet happy, comfortable, and safe! I love spending time outdoors! Walking, hiking and exploring the city are my favorite afternoon and weekend activities, and with your approval, I’d love to bring your pup along. The Arlington/DC area has some fantastic parks! One of my favorite areas is the dog-friendly trail that starts in Georgetown and heads along the water toward the monuments. If your pup loves lots of playtime and fun adventures outside, I think we’d be a great fit!
Reviews
Clay was incredibly easy to work with and was communicative.
Clay is fantastic. He went above and beyond to meet my schedule and was highly responsive and accommodating.
Clay is absolutely wonderful and all four of our dogs adore him! Our dogs range in ages from 12-16 and he couldn’t be more patient and loving with them. We feel so lucky to have found someone we trust and know our dogs love. A+++ dog sitter and walker, he’s always our first choice!
Clay has watched our 3 dogs on numerous occasions and always does a fantastic job. His love for dogs is apparent and my crew is always happy to see him. Clay is a very polite and well spoken young man and I highly recommend him as a dog sitter.

Information Clay B. would like to know about your pet
Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? How much activity does your dog like/need? Long or short walks? Playtime and fetch or relaxation and cuddles? Does your pet have any other quirks or needs I should know about?
A typical day
When your dog stays with me, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to work from home in order to spend as much quality time with your pup as possible. We will start our day with a long walk and some breakfast. Then I’ll get some work done while they enjoy a mid-morning snooze. If the weather is nice, I’ll find a spot to work outside while your pup relaxes in the sunshine. Around lunch time, we will go out for a longer play session to get out some daytime energy. In the evening before it gets dark, we will make sure to spend as much time as possible outside exploring the park or walking the local trails. A day full of activity will help your pet rest happily and comfortably when we turn in at the end of the day.
