While I (Claudie) have had dogs - big and small - all my life, I've also worked with various rescues to foster and help puppies get their forever homes. My husband (Chris) and I work from home and have plenty of time to care for young, adult, and senior dogs. On the weekends, we also enjoy going for long hikes and we'd love to bring your energetic fur babies along if they want the exercise! Boarding Info: We have our own two pups, Rupert and Eddie (a Terrier and Chihuahua) who love to meet other friends and play with them. We have a fenced backyard and usually take two or three 20- to 30-minute walks every day. Our dogs also follow us everywhere, even on the furniture, where they love to take naps! So whether your pup loves to exercise or prefers to sleep and cuddle, they should get their needs met with lots of running/playing/walking/cuddling time with us and their new doggy friends. :) Walking information: On the weekends, we enjoy going for long hikes and would be happy to add another dog to our pack. This may useful for pet parents who don't have the time or capacity to give their dog all the exercise they need or want every week. One of our favorite things to do is to explore the beautiful trails of San Diego, so we're am available for 1-, 2-, or 3- hour hikes every weekend! We know dogs are family members and need to be treated as the most amazing beings on this planet - because that's what they are!
