My senior superlative was “Human embodiment of a cocker spaniel.” I find so much joy in making sure dogs are getting all the love, care, and attention they want and deserve, maybe because I see some of myself in them. On top of caring for my own 2 dogs for nearly a decade, I’ve racked up quite a few hours volunteering at animal shelters (doing laundry, cleaning kennels, and general dog socialization) and donating homemade dog toys throughout my time in high school and college. I also was a nanny to a family for a year that had a German Shepard and Great Pyrenees, so size, slobber, and fur don’t phase me. I recently moved away from home after graduating and had to leave my dogs behind too. This has been a little tough, and I wish I could have a dog of my own, but it’s sadly not the right time for me, this just means I have so much more care and attention to give to your pets!!
