Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I can remember. My mom is passionate about dog rescue and has passed that down to me. I have learned a lot from her, she’s a certified dog trainer. There’s nothing I can’t handle when it comes to animals. I volunteer at Second Chance Adoption Center and continually helping my mom with our dogs or rescues.

Claudia has extensive experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. She is compassionate, knowledgeable and has had the opportunity to observe and work alongside her mom who has been evaluating and training shelters dogs for 15 years. Claudia has always lived in a multiple dog household and has been directly involved caring for dogs since she was a young child, as well as actively participating with several foster dogs who have passed through her home.

I am very tedious when it comes to pet care. We feed our dogs hard food and some wet food and add a broth to encourage their appetite. We take them on walks and hikes in our backyard we have 36 acres of land. Our Chinese Crested has congestive heart failure so I give him meds morning and night. Our past pitbull had diabetes so I had to give her insulin morning and night and we would check her blood as well. There has been accidental dog fights (not caused by me) with fosters and I can easily break it up safely and attend to each dog. I’m a neat freak so I keep any atmosphere very clean and neat and organized. My heart for animals is enormous and I just love to help and take care of them any way I can. I work a full time job unfortunately, but if you ever need a walker after 4pm I am available or weekends I can stay over or stop in. During the work week I can house sit but most likely not a whole week type thing maybe a night?…I am usually very flexible and will try my best to be as helpful as I can with my schedule! I am very efficient and on time.

A typical day
I love to play fetch with any dog, or games to get their minds thinking and keep them busy, I love to take dogs on long walks or hikes. Whatever the dog usually likes to do I like to keep them happy:)

Availability
We have 4 dogs at home so we feed them morning and night. I do have horses as well, feed them morning and night. Our dogs have a dog door to a fenced in yard. Then our foster is in a separate part of our house where we constantly let her out or walk her or lock our dog doors and let her in the yard.
