Pet care experience
Want to clarify firstly that I don’t go by my legal name, I go by Alexís. Before I had a pup of my very own, I used to live with a friend who had two medium sized, fully grown dogs. My friend worked full time so I took them out every 5hrs, feed them breakfast & dinner, as well as trained one of them. When I got my, now 11 month old, Yorkie, Chocó, I new I wanted him to be my personal service dog. I’ve been training him since 4 months, and he is a great psychiatric service dog in training. He’s learned 5 out of 7 tasks so far and is in the process of learning his last two. I also am well known in my buildings dog community as a “dog whisperer” just due the fact that most dogs naturally listen to my voice and my commands naturally, even those who struggle to listen to their owners.
Reviews
Alexis, has watched my dogs several times and was always reliable. They made sure to give my cat and two dogs plenty of food and playtime. I never came home to a mess. 10/10 would recommend.
Alexís is a very loving and responsible pet parent. I have been friends with them for 3 years now. We both got our service dog prospects around the same time and started our dog training journeys together. Alexís has also helped both me and another friend of ours with looking after our animals when needed. They always feed them the correct amount at the appropriate time, give them any medications they need, take the dogs on walks, and give everyone some playtime and enrichment. Alexís cares for every animal as if they were their own and appreciates each furry friend for exactly who they are. If you are looking for someone to care for your pets and give them some extra TLC, look no further than Alexís.

I always make sure to keep them stimulated either by training (with approved treats from client), puzzle feeding toys to keep them entertained/engaged, or play time wi the toys or a nice game of chase/hide n’ seek. I would take them out regularly (varies on breed and size as well as underlying conditions) and if approved walks or even quality socialization at my buildings dog park (only if given permission). Making sure they get a good amount of exercise and quality time balance.

Information Claudia P. would like to know about your pet
Any specifics sensitivities they may have to livings things, objects, or sounds. For example, if they don’t like thunderstorms let me know. Another example is a deep fear of scooters or skateboards (I am downtown Austin) Their routine and schedule, if its very rigid routine or flexible. If they need any medications or probiotics added to their foods, etc. Also let me know how social they are, the difference between how they interact with other dogs and other humans. Do they have toy aggression/possessiveness or food aggression/possessiveness, so I can look out for it by keeping myself safe and giving your pet space.
A typical day
I love to keep your dog stimulated mentally and physically. Either by playing games/toys, going on a walk and smelling new scents in my neighborhood, and going to my buildings friendly dog park (with approvals of owner).
